Here is a summary of the Mason County Real Estate Sales for February 2009.

 

There were 46 total real estate sales within the County in the amount of $8,255,163. Single family resales accounted for 18 of those sales followed by 11 platted lot sales and 8 short plat sales.

 

There was 1 sale of a new single family home and 1 Condo sale. Mobiles on land posted 3 sales and there were 3 sales of unplatted land parcels.

Prices for single family resales ranged from 1 waterfront property selling for $500,000 and 1 cabin selling for $67,000. The average price for this period was $201,997 with a median price of $147,075. Lots averaged $30,697.

 

On the Loan and Mortgage side there were 291 loans closed in the amount of $67,519,114. It appears that refinancing is highly-flavored. Convention loans were the most common, totaling 190 loans, followed by 28 VA’s, 27 Private loans, 26 ARM’S and 20 FHA’s.

 

The average conventional 30 year real estate loans were 5.31%. Adjustable rate loans were 5.65%.
